2. What data we collect

When you fill out our contact form, request a demo, or create an account, we collect the information you provide yourself, such as your name, email address, company name and the content of your message.

With your consent, we also collect data about your visit to our website through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (such as pages visited, device type and traffic source) and through Hotjar (such as mouse movements, scroll behaviour and clicks, to help us understand how our website is used).

3. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Functional cookies are necessary for the website to work properly and don't require consent.

For analytics and tracking cookies from Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Hotjar, we ask for your consent in advance via the cookie notice on our website. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through your browser settings or the cookie settings on our site.

4. Why and on what basis we process your data

We process your data to respond to your questions and to arrange demos or trial accounts (performance of a (pre-)contract), to improve our website and services based on anonymised or aggregated usage data (legitimate interest), and to place analytics and tracking cookies (your consent).

5. Sharing with third parties

We don't share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. We do use processors that handle data on our behalf, including Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) and Hotjar for website analytics, and our hosting provider for the technical delivery of our services.

We have data processing agreements in place with these parties. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area (for example by Google or Hotjar), this is done under appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention period

We don't keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Data submitted through contact forms is kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact moment, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing, including encrypted connections (TLS) and restricted access to personal data within our organisation.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, the right to request restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability.

You can send such a request to support@greenzeen.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
